The training entitled “Strategic Human Rights Protection” organized by British Human Rights Organization REDRESS and the Interregional Committee against Torture is conducted under the auspices of the European Commission.

It is a three-day seminar which gives Russian human rights defenders a chance to exchange their experience, learn about the most effective methods and types of human rights protection, listen to lectures. The training covers effective investigation standards, Russian and international law on human rights protection, European Court practice and issues of strategic planning and conducting public campaigns.
